Apply for a land register extract in Bonn

From the land registry of the Amtsgericht Bonn, Wilhelmstraße 21-23. You apply in writing, by fax or in person after an online appointment, each time with the Bonn application form, ID and proof of your legitimate interest. Alternatively a notary requests the printout. The invoice comes from the Zentrale Zahlstelle Justiz.

10 euros for the uncertified and 20 euros for the official or certified printout, under the Court and Notary Fees Act. At a notary it is 18 euros plus VAT. At Behördenfix you pay 49 euros including the court fee; you pay the extra amount for our written application with power of attorney.

The Amtsgericht Bonn warns in its own notice: private providers often charge much more than the official 10 euros, and some have no approval for automated retrieval. In such cases there was no printout despite payment. We are also a private service, state the fee openly and apply in writing with authorisation.

Anyone with a legitimate interest, i.e. in principle anyone with a registered right such as ownership, a land charge, a right of way or a right of residence. As proof the Bonn form names the authorisation of the owner or heirs, certificate of inheritance, will, notarial contract and loan, broker or sales mandate. The land registry decides.

No. The district of the Amtsgericht Bonn covers the whole City of Bonn, including Bad Godesberg, Beuel and Hardtberg, plus the town of Bornheim and the municipalities of Alfter and Wachtberg. For Königswinter, Siegburg or Rheinbach, by contrast, their own local courts in the Landgericht district of Bonn are responsible.
