- Replacement: «To apply for a replacement of your trade licence, please send a corresponding e-mail to the e-mail address given under Contact and attach a copy of your ID card.» The address is gewerbe@bonn.de.
- Case handling depends on the first letter: A to E 0228 772535, F to K 0228 772543, L and M 0228 775459, N to R 0228 773354, S to V 0228 772968, W to Z 0228 775485.
- The trade office is in the Stadthaus, Berliner Platz 2. Open Mondays and Thursdays from 8 to 16, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 to 13; by phone also Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 13 to 16.
- If someone acts for you, according to the city they present your passport or ID card and a power of attorney issued by you.

Can someone else apply for the replacement for me?
Yes. According to the City of Bonn, an authorised person presents the passport or ID card of the business owner and a power of attorney issued by them.
