Owner on the map? Strict in Bonn
Map for anyone, owner only with a reason
Anyone can order the cadastral map in Bonn. The Amt für Bodenmanagement und Geoinformation, however, only releases owner details with a legitimate interest, and the city itself writes that it assesses this rather restrictively.
More about Bonn (3)Show less
The page explicitly names an example: a mere interest in buying any plot is not enough to learn the owner's name. Neighbour-law matters can suffice. Owners and holders of a heritable building right always get the information for their own plot, notaries in general.
For orders, the Kundenzentrum Geodaten is the office's central point of contact. Fees follow the cost regulations for official surveying in NRW; the price is the same for the map and the parcel record.
The land cadastre of the Bundesstadt Bonn covers all properties in the entire city area, from Bad Godesberg to Beuel. Unlike the land register, there is no separate office for individual districts: all extracts come from the Stadthaus. Owners are not on the map but in the separate ownership record.

What does a cadastral map cost in Bonn?
Up to and including DIN A3 the first copy costs 30 euros, larger 60 euros. Each extra copy costs 10 euros. This also applies to the parcel and ownership record. Through Behördenfix you pay 54.90 euros for an extract up to DIN A3, the City of Bonn's fee included.
Can I order the cadastral map in Bonn online?
Yes. The city offers the «Application for extracts from the land cadastre» as an online form, without logging in to a user account. You receive the reply in writing. You can also order by e-mail, post, fax or in person in the Stadthaus; according to the page the price is the same.
Is the cadastral map free in Bonn?
Not as an official extract. For mere viewing, the City of Bonn links to a non-official cadastral map on the internet. If you need the map for a building application, a bank or a court, the office usually requires the official extract for 30 euros. Which version is enough, the office requesting it will tell you.
Can I find out the owner of a plot in Bonn?
Only with a legitimate interest that you explain to the office. The City of Bonn assesses this rather restrictively; a mere interest in buying is explicitly not enough. Neighbour-law matters can suffice. Owners and holders of a heritable building right always get the details of their own plot, notaries in general. The office decides.
