What is special in Düsseldorf
Official extract or free map online
The cadastre office expressly warns against unofficial Flurkarten from third-party providers on the internet. They look similar to the official extracts but are based on freely available data that can be up to half a year old, and offices that require an official extract do not accept them. In NRW, official extracts are only produced by the cadastre offices and publicly appointed surveyors. That is why we always order the official extract from the cadastre office in Düsseldorf.
More about Düsseldorf (3)Show less
Much is free to view in Düsseldorf: development plans at maps.duesseldorf.de and further geodata in the city's geoportal. The city writes that official Flurkarten are needed for building applications or for submission to banks. Oral information and inspection of the data are usually free of charge.
Owner details are part of the cadastral data, formerly in the property register (Liegenschaftsbuch), today in the ALKIS system. An extract is only released with a legitimate interest, in writing via geoservice@duesseldorf.de. For owners, notaries and publicly appointed surveyors, this interest is assumed.
